Data Hosting: Everything is hosted securely on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), using data centers located in the European Union.
Data Encryption: All data is encrypted when at rest using AES-256, as well as when in transit using HTTPS over TLS.
Permissions and Authentication: Data can only be accessed by the account owner. We run a zero-trust corporate network so even our staff cannot access it.
Virtual Private Cloud (VPC): Our servers are within a virtual private cloud (VPC) with firewalls and network access control lists (ACLs).
PCI Obligations: All payments are processed through our secure payment processing partner, Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1.
Failover and DR: All data is geo-replicated, as well as backed up daily, to ensure high availability of the Forecasting.io tool.
Vulnerability Management: We keep our systems up-to-date with the latest security patches, and continuously scan for new vulnerabilities.
Security Policies: We maintain a comprehensive set of internal security policies that are followed across our entire operations.
